Finding beauty in imperfection.
Please understand that all our products are completely handmade. The whole process, from clay form into your home, is done through meticulous hand work. Table lamps, Christmas ornaments and ginger jars are hand-shaped on a pottery wheel, while mugs, plates and horn shaped sound magnifiers are cast molded.
After they are given their unique shape, these earthenware ceramics are later fired at around 1800 degrees Fahrenheit. After this process, the bisque is formed and is ready for hand drawings and paintings.
Even though our artisans make every effort to create only the best, natural imperfections and slight design variations may occur. All of our products are hand drawn and painted without any template, allowing each artisan to truly project their own creativity on the ceramic bisque. Besides, these are traditional techniques passed on from generation to generation and each artisan inherits a unique set of skills and style that stands out. As a result, each item at Pamoose turns out to be unique and original.
Once the drawing and painting part is over, pressured air is carefully applied to the surface of each product to get rid of any tiny dust particles. Next, the glaze is applied by dipping the product to the specially prepared solution. Once the glaze dries out, the product is ready to be fired at 2000 degrees Fahrenheit.
Natural elements are used in painting and glazing. The interaction of these materials during the firing process creates the final colors. As a result, each firing process may result in slight differentiations in color shades.
Our products are shipped from Kütahya, Turkey to Massachusetts, United States. The table lamps are assembled here in a warehouse in Mendon, MA. All the products are packaged and shipped out from our warehouse, as well.
