This lamp shade is completely handmade. First the wire is given a circular shape by rolling around a circular wooden block. Then it is welded and flattened by hammering.
Description
First the iron circles are formed by hand, using centruies-old techniques. Next the shade maker cuts the fabric into an oval shape. After carefully applying glue around the wire, then the maker sticks the fabric onto the wire, giving the lamp its known shape. The final touch is applied with a self-adhesive strap around the edges.
The fabric offers an even and smooth glow.
